Welcome to the Rotary Club of Roanoke-Downtown web site. Our Club is a not-for-profit organization that supports youth organizations and other worthwhile causes in our region as well as Rotary International programs to achieve world understanding and peace.

The Rotary Club of Roanoke-Downtown is dedicated to the motto Service Above Self.  Our members include some of the region's most prominent business, professional, and civic leaders.  We gather at bi-weekly meetings and other functions to fulfill our commitment to the Rotarian ideals of fellowship and service to others.  We invite you to get acquainted with our Club and its mission in our About Us and Rotary International pages.

2011-2012 Raise a Fork for Kids Fundraiser

On March 31st the Club held our most successful fundraising event to date.  The Greenvale School, The West End Center, and YMCA Magic Place were the primary benefactors from “Raise a Fork for Kids Auction with Action”. Each of these worthy youth-oriented organizations received $6,000.
